Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is a high-throughput microplate detection technology, which is easy to operate, and is widely used in life science, biopharmaceutical, in vitro diagnosis, food safety, environmental science and other fields.
Principle
The microplate reader is actually a disguised photoelectric colorimeter or spectrophotometer. Its basic working principle and main structure are basically the same as those of the photoelectric colorimeter.
The light wave emitted by the light source lamp is transformed into a beam of monochromatic light through a filter or Monochromator and enters the sample to be measured in the plastic microporous plate.Part of the monochromatic light is absorbed by the sample, and the other part is irradiated to the detector through the sample.
The detector converts the optical signals with different strengths and strengths of different samples to be detected into corresponding electrical signals, which are processed by preamplification, logarithmic amplification and analog-to-digital conversion, and then sent to the microprocessor for data processing and calculation. Finally, the results are displayed by the display and printer.
Application
✭Biological research
Enzyme labeling instrument is widely used in biological research, such as cell differentiation, protein synthesis, acid-base balance, blood glucose concentration and so on.
✭Medical diagnosis
Typical uses are to detect the concentration of pathogenic microorganisms, antigens, hormones and other molecules or biomarkers in clinical tests to provide quantitative methods for the diagnosis of diseases.
✭Environmental monitoring
According to the specific reaction of pollutants in the atmosphere, it is very important for the monitoring of air pollution to detect the content of pollutants in the atmosphere by measuring the degree of binding of another substance with pollutants in the atmosphere.
✭Food hygiene inspection
Substances such as pathogenic bacteria or harmful toxins that may exist in food can be detected by using the detection technology of enzyme labeling instrument.
These detections typically include quality control parameters such as process monitoring and product batch inspection, as well as food safety indicators such as residual pharmaceuticals, pesticides and toxins.
Operation precautions
1. When adding liquid with a pipette, pipette tips cannot be mixed use.
2. Microplates need to be cleaned completely. It is best to use microplate washer, avoid cross contamination.
3. Strictly follow the instructions of the kit and follow the reaction time.
4. During the measurement process,do not touch the enzyme plate to prevent the operator's hand from being crushed when the enzyme plate is transmitted.
5. Do not spill samples or reagents on the surface or inside of the instrument. Wash hands after operation.
6. Clean and disinfect the instrument if it has been in contact with contaminated or infectious items.
7. Do not turn off the power during the measurement.
8. Cover the dust cover when used up.
9. In the event of technical failure, please contact the manufacturer promptly and do not disassemble the microplate reader without authorization.
We can provide:
INNOVA Microplate Reader(IMR-200/IMR-200c/IMR-200n) and Microplate Washer(IMW320/IMW330) adopt international advanced technology, widely used in clinical trials, biological research, agricultural science, food and environmental science, etc.
It replaces the previous complicated manual beating. It is simple to operate, reliable and clean, which greatly reduces the workload of experimental operators.
