1. Planetary ball mill size selection
Determine the planetary ball mill size according to the amount of materials.
Planetary ball mill size selection calculation formula: A=C/p*3.
A: The planetary ball mill size (unit: L)
C: The mass of the material to be ground once (unit: kg)
p: The bulk density of the ground material (unit: kg/L)
For example: 2kg of material is ground at one time and the bulk density of the material is 1.5kg/L. The planetary ball mill size A=2/1.5*3=4L, that is, select a 4L planetary ball mill.
2. Ball mill jar selection:
1)Ball mill jar size selection:
There are 4 ball milling jars on the planetary disk of the planetary ball mill. The size of each ball milling jaris at most 1/4 of the total volume of the planetary ball mill. For example, a 4L planetary ball mill can be equipped with a maximum of 4×1L ball milling jars. If it is equipped with a vacuum tank, due to the characteristics of the vacuum jar, the outer dimensions of the tank with the same volume must be one model larger. Therefore, when equipped with a vacuum jar, the planetary ball mill must be one model larger. For example: 4×0.5L vacuum jars require a planetary ball mill with a total volume of 4L.
